FORCHAK LAW FIRM is a firm of Barristers, Solicitors & Notaries Public with principal office in Limbe in the South West Province of the Republic of Cameroon. It is a bi-jural Law Firm within the context of the country’s constitution, which is traceable from its cultural background having two legal systems to wit French Civil Law and English Common Law applicable in each jurisdiction of the country. We handle cases and offer legal advice in both languages that is in English and French. The law firm which is licensed to operate in a multi-jurisdictional area extending to countries that are members of the CEMAC, OHADA and OAPI Convention and Treaties, have the special advantage and ability to represent and assist clients generally in Africa and the World at large.

Furthermore, the firm is highly engaged in multi-disciplinary legal practice and that explain why there is an apparent division in its organisation and functioning.



Intellectual property practice and related matters is exclusively handled by FORCHAK IP & LEGAL ADVISORY (a subsidiary of the firm) with highly skilled and professionally reputed Patent and Trademark Attorneys. As a separate, distinct and independent department of the firm, we assist clients mainly in intellectual property counseling, registration and processing of trademarks, copyrights, patents, utility models, industrial designs and trade secret protection and maintenance, entertainment and advertising law, unfair competition, infringement, enforcement and defense of IP rights, market survey on counterfeited, in depth investigation into infringers, IP due diligence, related matters and litigation. Transfer of technology, licensing and franchising, intellectual property audit, mergers and acquisitions, international commercial and civil practice, anti piracy investigation, computer and software patent, biochemical and pharmaceutical patents.



As Licensed Patent and Trademark Attorneys, we deal directly with the OAPI via foreign and international partners. In this regard, we represent major foreign and international law firms in the gamut of services cited above.

We offer excellent services and work continuously for seven days a week. We have a rotatory staff for weekends and public holidays to respond to clients needs in what ever time zone they find themselves.
